I'm Running Away to Hawaii . . .
Ok, so not really, but a girl can dream can't she? With the weather so gray and cold I find myself longing for beaches and sunny shores. With the sea on my mind, I just had to list these little seahorses in my Etsy shop. For those of you who stopped by my blog these past few days and signed up for my giveaway, can I just say, "wow! you guys are the best!" I am absolutely giddy from the interest in this contest and my Romance Pendant Necklace. If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late! I'm soooo looking forward to Saturday to find out who the winner will be! :-)

Where did the summer go?
Sun going down on the beaches of Ocracroke IslandWhere did the summer go? Every year it goes by a bit quicker. I'm feeling a bit sad that my boys are back to school and it's back to the fall rush - get up at the crack of dawn to make the bus by 7am, the homework and other activities after school, ....
If only we could escape back to the beach like we did a couple of weeks ago. How I love the sound of the ocean, the smell of the sea, and lazy days at the beach.

The Beach and more pendants
Been busy with so many things . . . getting ready for two upcoming shows, lots of portrait commissions, making more pendants, and went away this past weekend to the beach. Whew, now I just need to catch my breath. :-)
Cardinal on Green Pendant Necklace
Zelda's first trip to the beach - very tired puppy after playing in the waves all morning!
I just love this shot of my family - everybody doing there own thing, having a wonderful time at the beach. Where am I? . . . well behind the camera of course!
