Shadow Play and Gingerbread Houses

Shadow Play at the Children's Museum
Gingerbread House at the Children's Museum

Hello peeps, hello again my poor neglected blog. I have been busy with the fall show circuit and building up inventory for stores (more info on that soon!). But, I took a bit of time out on Friday to go on my son's 3rd grade fieldtrip to the Richmond Children's Museum. My boys have gotten so big, it's been a while since we had been there. I think I may have had as much fun as the kiddos! I LOVE the shadow room! You can stand in front of the screen and if you are very patient the butterflies will land on your shadow. So cool! I had one boy in my group that stood still for several minutes and he had several land on his arms and even one land on his head! If you live in the area, you also have to go check out the gingerbread house exhibit, yummy!!!

On a business note, stay tuned to my shops for some new items. Also, big news coming soon!

The shadow play sounds amazing! I live in NC, and I think that the farthest we went north on a field trip was Norfolk. Sounds like we were definitely missing out on something!
