I'm Melting

Well, it is in the triple digits in good ole' Richmond, VA. Between the humidity and the heat I feel like I am melting into a puddle, ick. I attempted my first Farmer's Market on Sunday when it was 101. Luckily I found a nice shady spot, but I still had to pack up by the middle of the afternoon to go home and recoup.I've been creating lots of new silver jewelry pieces lately for my Artistic Creations line. And I managed to design my own jewelry cards. I am very excited about my new packaging!
Check out the view from my booth at the Farmer's Market. Yes, that is a train going by. So, it was noisy and hot, but you have to admit - such character!
My first booth at the Farmer's Market. I have lots of ideas for some changes for next time. However, these trays worked pretty well. $2 clearance trays from Michaels that I painted, filled with rice, added silk leaves, and topped with my jewelry. They all stacked and fit great in a rubber maid tub for easy transport.
